Laurie Carmody is a children’s book author who writes stories about finding inner strength, embracing uniqueness, and building connection. She lives in Maryland with her husband and two children. When she isn’t writing, she’s probably checking books out of the library, playing piano, or attempting to jog around her hilly neighborhood. She holds degrees from Ithaca College and Indiana University in Instructional Design.
